A Journey of Gratitude and Purpose
As I reflect on the incredible journey of running for office in Texas District 29 during the midterm elections, I am filled with gratitude and pride. The primary results didn’t go in my favor. However, the experience was a testament to the power of grassroots engagement. It also showed the potential for change. Most importantly, it reinforced the unwavering belief that decency and integrity must be restored in Washington.
A Vision for Texas District 29
When I launched my campaign, I did so with a clear vision. I aimed to fight for the issues that truly matter to the people of Texas District 29 — healthcare, education, and jobs. These are the pillars upon which we can build a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous future. I believe that everyone deserves access to affordable healthcare. I also believe in an education that empowers our children. Lastly, I believe in the opportunity to pursue meaningful careers that elevate lives and communities.
Support from Respected Leaders
One of the highlights of this campaign was the outpouring of support from both national and local leaders. I am deeply honored to have received endorsements from some of the most respected figures in politics. These include Senator Chuck Schumer, Congressman Adam Schiff, and Beto O’Rourke. Their support validated the importance of our message. It also highlighted the need for a new, more compassionate direction for Texas and our country.
Inspiring First-Time Voters
But what truly filled me with hope was the engagement we saw from first-time voters. Together, we mobilized a group of individuals who felt empowered to have their voices heard. This was a campaign that brought people together — not just as constituents but as active participants in shaping the future of our democracy.
“21% of the Votes in District 29 — A Strong Foundation”
Though I did not win the primary, securing 21% of the vote was a significant achievement in itself. It demonstrated the strength of our message and the willingness of so many to stand up and support a cause they believe in. Every vote cast, every conversation had, and every door knocked was a step toward the change we desperately need.
Lessons That Fuel the Future
As I continue to work toward bettering our communities and our country, I carry forward the lessons I’ve learned from this campaign: the importance of listening to people, the need for bold, decisive action, and the power of unity. We must continue to advocate for policies that address the issues that matter most — for the future of our children, the health of our families, and the strength of our economy.
A Lasting Commitment to District 29, TX.
Thank you to everyone who supported this campaign. While my journey as a candidate may have come to a close, my dedication to public service and to making a difference remains stronger than ever. The fight for a better future is far from over, and I am committed to doing everything I can to ensure that the voices of the people of Texas District 29 are always heard.
Together, we will keep pushing for change, no matter the odds.
